Title IX reformed college sports and high school athletics all over the country. The participation of Women athletics has dramatically grown larger. Without Title IX, the drastic increase of 2,880,000 women high school athletics wouldn't have occurred. It helped equalize female and male athletics and opened up new opportunities to women that were never offered before. Women's choices to play sports were very limited, and not taken as seriously as men. Title IX created laws around the amount of female and male athletes and teams in colleges, but also, forced colleges to hand out an increasing number of scholarships to women.  Women are now "more profile than ever", in the Olympics and on professional teams. This opened up better job options to women with a better salary. You could even say that Title IX boosted the economy.

        Thesis Statement

Title IX didn't just help reform women's athletics in high school and college, but benefited women with scholarships and college education. Title IX also started a reaction of events with women's rights. It helped equalize rights in the workplace for women like salaries, and started to help more females join the workforce.
